Internship in Uganda
Are you interested in education and development? Do you wish to experience a new culture in a foreign country? An internship abroad offers a great opportunity to grow personally, learn intercultural understanding and may influence you life.
As a part of our project Lifeline Uganda it is possible to conduct an internship at the Bukedea Lifeline Schools in Uganda. As an intern, you represent Glocal LifeLearn and help to improve the programme and the partnership with the schools.
Depending on your abilities, you could assist for example with teaching, in communication matters between Glocal LifeLearn and the schools or offer an extra-curricular activity.
We try to avoid to avoid short-term interns. It takes time to get used to a new culture, place and job.
Unfortunately, the internship is not paid. However, living costs in Uganda are low. Accommodation would be arranged by the schools.
If you are interested or have questions, please contact our coordinator Julia Buchholz. We are looking forward to getting to know you.
